Our History & Heritage
Since its establishment, Ssaku Senior Secondary School has grown into a respected center of academic excellence and holistic education. Rooted in the motto “Hard Work Leads to Success”, our heritage reflects decades of dedication to nurturing disciplined, talented, and responsible citizens who continue to make a positive impact in Uganda and beyond.
A Legacy of Hard Work and Success
Founded in 1995 by Mr. Samuel Kulubya, a visionary member of the Nsawo community, Ssaku Secondary School is a community-based school located in a rural area of Luweero District, Uganda. Established in response to the challenges faced by the district during the 1981–1986 guerrilla war, the school provides local children with access to quality education and empowers the surrounding community.
Today, Ssaku SSS serves students from across Uganda, fostering academic excellence, leadership, and practical skills through innovative programs, vocational training, and strategic partnerships. As a rural, community-rooted institution, the school transforms families and the wider community by nurturing responsible, skilled, and socially engaged individuals.
