Our History & Heritage

Since its establishment, Ssaku Senior Secondary School has grown into a respected center of academic excellence and holistic education. Rooted in the motto “Hard Work Leads to Success”, our heritage reflects decades of dedication to nurturing disciplined, talented, and responsible citizens who continue to make a positive impact in Uganda and beyond.

Our Heritage

A Legacy of Hard Work and Success

Mr. Samuel Kulubya established Ssaku Senior Secondary School in 1995 as a private comprehensive Senior Secondary School. It is located along the Gulu Bombo Road, 26 kilometers from the heart of Kampala.

The many challenges Luweero district underwent during the 1981–1986 guerrilla war, forced the founder to come back home and support the community through the provision of quality education services. The school serves all Ugandans, regardless of where they live, and several Musaale villages nearby, including Kibisi, Kaswa, Busula, Wobulenzi, Kalule, Kayindu, Kwese, Gembe, Kyevuunze and Bbunga, have benefited from the quality education services.
